Ponaire (Irish for Bean) was established in 2006 by Tommy and Jennifer Ryan. They are Irish owned and operated and only buy Speciality coffees beans that are carefully selected to create a full range of options that suit different ways of making and drinking coffee. All of their coffees are traceable and in some instances have visited the farms and met the farmers and mill operators. They roast 100% of their coffees themselves in their Diedrich IR-24 Roaster or Diedrich IR-3 Roaster. Their Speciality coffees do not have to travel far to get to your cup!
Their prescription centre is an independent Irish owned Pharmacy situated in the heart of Limerick City. The Paddocks is friendly restaurant located in the student centre on the campus of UL. The food here is great value and good quality as rated by the students themselves in a recent online survey that we did. Breakfast is served here daily from 8am Mon-Thurs. We also serve a wide variety of dishes on the lunch menu which include daily specials. We have a friendly relaxed atmosphere suited to the students.
The Plaza Café is a great venue if you want a break from study to enjoy a coffee and snack.
Secret Garden Flowers is located in Castletroy Town Centre Limerick. Our shop is well placed in the shopping centre with ample parking so you cannot miss us. In the 1990’s Paddy O’Flynn had a dream, he would import wines directly from Bordeaux to Ireland, where he moved to in 1988, and distribute directly to Irish customers.
